CPTED Assessment Application

Through “Renew The Avenue”, The University Avenue Corridor Coalition is now offering free Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Assessments for properties with the University Avenue Corridor.

  • Commercial, residential, and recreation/open spaces are eligible.
  • Residential properties are eligible for a mini-grant to implement a recommended CPTED strategy or strategies (your choice)
  • Funding is available on a first come first served basis (until funds run out).
  • Assessments will be performed by Kettering University staff, Flint Urban Safety Corps staff, and trained neighborhood residents.
